Burns Day Celebrations

To celebrate Burns Day, we invited senior members from our local community to a traditional Burns Supper of haggis, neeps and tatties. Primary 6 prepared the food whilst Primary 1-7 entertained the guests with a variety of performances ranging from poems to songs. Guests were escorted over to the class with the guidance of our fantastic bagpipe player Andrew who also assisted us in addressing the haggis.

Primary 6 did an excellent job of making their guests feel welcome.

In the afternoon there was a whole school ceilidh to dance all the January blues away.

Well done to everyone involved and a special well done to Primary 6!
