Fairtrade Coffee Morning

In P1 Blue we have been learning about Fairtrade during Fairtrade Fortnight.  We have learned about a fair price for farmers and the different Fairtrade products that you can buy. We decided to share our learning with our families and so we organised a Coffee Morning. We baked banana bread, chocolate brownies and cookies to share with everyone. As we are in Lent, we thought it would be nice to raise some money for Charity. We sold Fairtrade tea and coffee with our homebakes and we raised £100 for the charity, SCIAF. Thank you to all the Parents and Grandparents who came along to support P1 Blue.
