A Welcome from the Headteacher

Welcome to our website. We hope you enjoy browsing it to learn more about our school. Many thanks to our pupils, staff, parents and families for using this website well to provide an insight into our school life.

At St Peter’s, we have over 200 lovely children from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. We try to provide a happy, caring and stimulating place for everyone to learn. We value and nurture our learners and help them to develop responsible attitudes, confidence and a positive mindset to play their part in improving our school and the world around them.

All of our classes update their blogs regularly and I hope you will visit these pages often to find out what is going on in school. If you need more information about any aspect of school life, please do not hesitate to get in touch. You can phone 01224 485611 or e-mail stpeters@aberdeencity.gov.uk

The Primary 7 class at St Peter’s Roman Catholic School (class of 2024) have written a book in Doric about the local area. The book, entitled ‘A Unicorn’s Guide Tae Aul Aiberdeen’, takes the reader on a magical journey through Old Aberdeen.

Our Primary 7 class were very grateful for the opportunity to work with Jackie Ross and Aaron Gale from Doric Books, who helped them through the journey of writing and illustrating their own book and then taking this to the publication stage.

The book can be purchased via the Doric Books website: https://doricbooks.com/products/a-unicorns-guide-tae-aul-aiberdeen

We are also delighted to have featured in a local news article sharing the successes of this project: https://www.aberdeencity.gov.uk/news/st-peters-rc-school-launch-magical-doric-book
