\"\"<\/a>Primary 7’s first stop on the journey was at Pluscarden Abbey where we had lunch and were met by Father Giles who gave us a tour. He explained facts about the stained glass windows and told us a bit about life at the abbey.\u00a0 We listened to the monks for their 12.40 prayers which they sang in Latin.<\/p>\n

The next stop on our journey to Tomintoul was Scalan where we got off the bus in what looked like the middle of nowhere. Mrs Bain led us to the Hidden College of Scalan where Priest Gordon, the founder of our school, studied. We had a look inside and read about each room. We also discovered the secret chapel and how the community would have entered using a ladder to a doorway half way up the gable of the house during the time of the Jacobites.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We finally made our way to St Michael\u2019s Centre in Tomintoul and had dinner and time to play football, basketball and take the annual P7 trip photo. We played indoor games later on that evening and had some hot chocolate before trying to go to sleep! \"\"<\/a>On Day 2, we had an early start and Team McFadden got breakfast ready for everyone. \u00a0We got on the bus to go to Landmark for the day, stopping on the way for a photo with the Highlands in the background.\u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Landmark was great fun. We went to all of the sections and had lots of time to go on all of the rides. Most people were very brave and did Sky Dive and the High Ropes course. Some of the other highlights were the water slide, climbing wall and the optical illusions room.<\/p>\n
