We are enjoying lots of different activities in the sand box area in the mornings. Here are some of the things we have been up to- <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>using the pine cones and sticks to create fairy gardens<\/li><li>painting leaves<\/li><li>painting stones to turn them into ladybugs<\/li><li>digging in the sand<\/li><li> practising our letters and numbers in the sand and also with chalk on the playground <\/li><li>drawing our shadows with chalk. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We have also been learning indoors <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-learning our letters and sounds. Practising them in various ways with paint, pencils, stampers &#8211; and writing them in foam and glitter too. We have also enjoyed using the whiteboards and the letter and number roads with cars to practise on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As you can see from the photos, we have been learning about feelings when reading &#8216;The Colour Monster&#8217; story and we made our own colour monsters too.  We enjoyed our first RADS football session and look forward to more in the coming weeks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Everyone in Primary 1 has done so well.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Primary 1 have been very busy.
