P1M have loved reading our three special bookbug books, Arlo the lion who couldn’t sleep, Inch and Grub, and My first book of woodland animals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are using “My first book of Woodland animals” as part of our enterprise topic this term. We have been learning about some of the animals in the book. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our favourite new fox fact is that when they are cold they curl up and use their tail as a scarf! We made super fox shape pictures. We used rectangles and triangles to make our fox pictures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We learnned that badgers live in setts underground. We also learned that they are nocturnal, that means that they sleep in the day and are awake at night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We loved finding out about what Hedgehogs like to eat. The P2’s collected some insects from the garden and let us look at them. The insects that they collected were all ones that hedgehogs like to eat; worm, forkytail, slug and slater. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
