We have learned lots last few weeks. Here is what we have been learning:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Literacy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In literacy we have looked at some sounds from last year like : ue in rescue, aw as in jaw, oi as in coin, ph as in dolphin, ch as in cheese and sh as in ship. As for writing we practice writing every day, we write about what we did at the weekend, what we like, what we don&#8217;t like etc. In taught writing we wrote a postcard to a friend and an imaginary story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/st-peters.aberdeen.sch.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/P3-Assembly-26.08.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\" src=\"https:\/\/st-peters.aberdeen.sch.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/P3-Assembly-26.08.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15233\" srcset=\"https:\/\/st-peters.aberdeen.sch.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/P3-Assembly-26.08.jpg 600w, https:\/\/st-peters.aberdeen.sch.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/P3-Assembly-26.08-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Maths<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Maths we are learning numbers to 1000. On Wednesday morning we work with Callum in RADS, focusing on speed and agility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Interdisciplinary Learning<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In IDL we are learning where we come from. Each week we look at one country we come from, so  far we learned about India, France and Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Homework<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Homework will be shared after the September Holiday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Homework will be shared on Google Classroom on Monday and should be completed by Friday every week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Homework activities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Education city- Maths and Phonics<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My rising stars- Reading <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The boys and girls in P3 have done a great job at settling into their new class.
