This term we were learning to talk about the weather. We dscussed weather related vocabulary and went for a walk to find signs of weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We creater a weather diary in our class and in pairs we were collecting weather data for each day of the week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We made weather related art and we visited our school’s weather station to learn how to measure temperature, rainfall, wind speed and atmospheric pressure. We also found out about the difference between weather ad climate and discussed different climates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Numeracy<\/p>\n\n\n\n During numeracy lessons we were learning about time. We used analogue and digital clocks to tell the time. We also looked at days of the week, seasons and months. We learned how to write dates in a short and a long form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We have also started learning about money by doing shopping in a vegetable shop in our class. We discussed how we can add money using chimney sums and how to record different amounts of money using \u00a3 and p.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We wish everyone Happy Easter and safe holidays.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" We had a very exciting and busy term in P3\/4.
