We wrote postcards from Struay and even posted them in our own Post Office!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/_d_improd_\/IMG_0589_f_improf_153x153.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"153\" height=\"153\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In maths, the children have been learning about multiplication and subtraction. We still enjoy active literacy and learn new sounds and words every week.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/_d_improd_\/IMG_0585_f_improf_275x275.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"275\" height=\"275\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This week has been Catholic Education Week at school. P1\/2 have been learning about Pope Francis and have spoken about other modern day saints such as Nelson Mandela and Mother Teresa. We created a &#8216;Kindness Wall&#8217; in the class which gave the children the opportunity to give compliments to each other. We have enjoyed reading about Moses from the Bible. He was a shepherd so the children made their own sheep to remind them about the story!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" title=\"\" src=\"\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/_d_improd_\/IMG_0624_f_improf_336x336.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"336\" height=\"336\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We hope you enjoy the long weekend!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>P1\/2 have continued to work very hard this month!
