We will also continue working on developing our skills of writing different genres of texts like diaries, newspaper articles and instructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Numeracy<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During numeracy lessons we will work on measuring length, capacity and weight. We will do practical activities when measuring, and we will also practise converting units of length, weight and capacity. Afterwards we will move to shape, position and movement, where will look at giving directions, reading coordinates and describing different 2D and 3D shapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During RE lessons, we will read and recall the events of the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus in the account from Mark\u2019s Gospel. We will also talk about Mary during the month of May. Some of the learners in our class will continue their First Communion preparations and then First Communion celebrations in May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This term we will have our PE lessons on Tuesdays and Thursdays. During PE lessons we will focus on athletics. We will practise running long and short distance, relay races, long jump and triple jump.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Homework<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our homework will include numeracy tasks, reading books and spelling words. Numeracy homework will be posted every Monday as a set of online activities and should be finished by Friday.
