So far this term we have been busy getting to know eachother and our new learning space. Our current context for learning is \u201cWe belong\u201d and Primary 3 is focusing on \u201cOur Class Family\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Maths and Numeracy <\/strong>we are focusing on number (including place value, sequencing) and shape, position and movement. We have been learning a variety of mathematical language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Writing <\/strong>we have been practising writing sentences using colourful semantics <\/em>to help us know when a sentence is complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In P.E <\/strong>we are focusing on ball skills including throwing, catching and football.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

R.E\u00a0<\/strong>has helped us explore what it means to be a good friend. We have looked at stories such as \u201cthe good samaritan\u201d and learned about St. Vincent de Paul and how he helps those in need. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A reminder to bring indoor shoes suitable for P.E so we can run safely in the gym hall. P.E days can be found in your welcome letter and will be shared at our \u201cMeet the Teacher\u201d event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
