Here is a brief overview of our intended learning for April.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Topic<\/strong> &#8211; We will be completing our &#8216;Transport&#8217; topic and will be introduced to our new Social Studies theme &#8216;Percy The Park Keeper.&#8217; This topic will be exploring outdoor life, looking at living things such as plants, flowers and wild life.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" aligncenter\" src=\"\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/_d_improd_\/IMG_0698-1024x7681_f_improf_343x343.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"343\" height=\"343\" data-mce-width=\"0.3999999761581421\" data-mce-height=\"0.3999999761581421\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Our completed hot air balloons!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maths<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We will be learning about grid references. We will also be learning how to follow and record routes and journeys using signs, words associated with direction and turning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Language<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>P1 will be concentrating on the sounds &#8216;wh&#8217; and &#8216;ph&#8217;.
