First we concentrated on measuring the length, height and width of different objects and then we measured different parts of our body since our topic is the Human Body!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" aligncenter\" src=\"\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/_d_improd_\/IMG_0944-1024x768_f_improf_424x424.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"424\" height=\"424\" data-mce-width=\"40\" data-mce-height=\"40\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" aligncenter\" src=\"\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/_d_improd_\/IMG_0932-1024x768_f_improf_412x412.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"412\" height=\"412\" data-mce-width=\"40\" data-mce-height=\"40\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Then P3 \u00a0learned about weight and how to use scales.\u00a0 This week we had a lot of fun learning about capacity and how to measure liquids.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/_d_improd_\/IMG_0960-1024x768_f_improf_291x291.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"291\" height=\"291\" data-mce-width=\"40\" data-mce-height=\"40\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/_d_improd_\/IMG_0964-1024x768_f_improf_272x272.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"272\" height=\"272\" data-mce-width=\"40\" data-mce-height=\"40\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In mental maths, P3 have been practising adding and taking away to 100 using different strategies we have learned this year.\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignright\" src=\"\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/_d_improd_\/IMG_0947-1024x768_f_improf_246x246.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"246\" height=\"246\" data-mce-width=\"40\" data-mce-height=\"40\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In literacy, we have learned the following phonemes this month:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>-u-<\/strong> as in<em> pull<\/em>,<\/li>\n<li><strong> -y-<\/strong> as in <em>crystal<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>\u00a0-gn-<\/strong> as in <em>gnome<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are now revising them and playing many different sound games.<\/p>\n<p>In our topic, we have learned about all 5 senses and the skeleton.
