The children have made some lovely crafts which begin with these letters.We are going on to learn the sounds, g and l.<br \/>\nWe have been lucky enough to be invited to the Scottish Children&#8217;s Book Awards, where we will meet the shortlisted Authors and hear their stories. We are very excited!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/_d_improd_\/teaching-resources-scba2016bookbugreaders-teaser_0_f_improf_272x207.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"272\" height=\"207\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In Maths we are learning how to add numbers to 10. We have a great new number mat which is helping us count all the way up to 20.<br \/>\nNext week we are going to start looking at 2D shape. I wonder where we will see these shapes in the classroom?<\/p>\n<p>Our topic this term is &#8216;The Forest&#8217;. We have been learning about the Gruffalo and all the animals which live in the Forest with him. As part of our topic we have planned a visit to Cruickshank&#8217;s Botanical Garden on 18th November, <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/_d_improd_\/cruicks-2_f_improf_233x140.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"233\" height=\"140\" \/>where we will learn more about the outdoors and the animals that live there.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week in class we have been consolidating the sounds, r,m,d,e,c,k.
