Here are some photos of us enjoying our school ceilidh.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/_d_improd_\/IMG_0346_f_improf_340x275.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"340\" height=\"275\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/_d_improd_\/IMG_0368_f_improf_298x227.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"298\" height=\"227\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/_d_improd_\/IMG_0334_f_improf_294x224.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"294\" height=\"224\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We learnt about the artist Paul Klee and made some fabulous pictures inspired by his technique.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/_d_improd_\/IMG_0406_f_improf_348x281.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"348\" height=\"281\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We also used our topic as a tool to learn about different styles\u00a0of writing, particularly functional and imaginary.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/_d_improd_\/IMG_0439_f_improf_372x291.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"372\" height=\"291\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Our castle display helped us to learn a lot of vocabulary about the different features of a castle.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for all the wonderful homework!<\/p>\n<p>This term we will continue to learn our tricky sounds and words in class. Please continue to practise these sounds and words at home in any way possible. See homework for details.<\/p>\n<p>We have been loving learning about money. Please continue to take trips to the shop and practise using money in real life situations.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/_d_improd_\/IMG_0448_f_improf_369x281.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"369\" height=\"281\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We are going to be working on adding coins to a pound and beyond.
