It has been lovely to have the boys and girls back to school, full of stories from their Easter Holidays!<\/p>\n

We are settling well into our final term as primary 2 in St Peter’s.<\/p>\n

Notes for this term:<\/p>\n

P.E. with Mrs Armstrong – Monday 9am (outside on most occasions – weather permitting).
\nPlease ensure the children have an appropriate gym kit. \u00a0They will wear their school jumpers in most cases, but if you wish to provide long bottoms to keep them warm, please do so.<\/p>\n

Swimming lessons – Aberdeen Sports Village Tuesday 10.45 – 12
\nPlease ensure that the children come to school with a swimming kit and towel so that\u00a0they can make the best use of this fantastic opportunity.
\nParent support welcomed to accompany us.<\/p>\n

Upcoming trip to Castle Fraser – Inverurie Wednesday 4th May
\nLeaving school 9.15 returning before 3pm.

End of term 3 wrap up:<\/p>\n

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Tillydrone library. The children had a fantastic time listening to stories and interacting with them. \u00a0We even managed the walk all the way to Tillydrone and back on our little legs. Well done! May thanks for the parent support on the day!<\/p>\n

We also had a great time celebrating World Book Day, by dressing as our favourite story book characters, and bringing in the story to share with the class.<\/p>\n

We enjoyed our Easter egg hunt in the school garden, organised by the primary 7 boys and girls. \u00a0We also were really happy to go to Seaton Park to roll our Easter eggs down the hill.<\/p>\n

We enjoyed learning about the Easter Story, and making meaning of it in many different ways. We shared a small meal together in class and\u00a0thought about the significance of this.\u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

We also had great fun at the St Machar Football festival, where we used the skills we had learned with Rob all the way back in term 1!<\/p>\n

We have been consolidating what we learned in term 3 about money.<\/p>\n

Keeping fit and healthy (even on the wet days) with Go Noodle!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We had great fun predicting what our term 4 topic might be! We had lots of excellent ideas and guessed correctly. \u00a0We will be learning all about mini beasts \/ life cycles in term 4. \u00a0We have decided to call our new topic “Creepy Crawlies”.<\/p>\n
