We have all become great friends.<\/p>\n<p>Language:<\/p>\n<p>We are following the \u2018Jolly Phonics\u2019 programme and our primary 1 children have been learning two new sounds and three new common words a week. After three weeks they will have a week of revision.<\/p>\n<p>Primary 2 pupils have been revising some of these initial sounds and will be introduced to new sounds after consolidation.<\/p>\n<p>All phonics and spelling lessons are active and interesting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/_d_improd_\/IMG_0384_f_improf_345x178.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"345\" height=\"178\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Maths:<\/p>\n<p>Primary 1 are learning about numbers to 10. We have been practising our number formations and are currently at number 7.<\/p>\n<p>Primary 2 are consolidating their number bond knowledge and expanding their knowledge to 20.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/_d_improd_\/IMG_0390_f_improf_339x189.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"339\" height=\"189\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Topic:<\/p>\n<p>Our topic this term is Dinosaurs.
