The Rotary Shoebox Scheme

Mile Buiochas daoibh! This translates to “Thank you a million times” in the Irish language!

We are overwhelmed by the generosity felt during the collection of wonderful gifts for the Rotary Shoebox Scheme.

We had set ourselves a target to fill 30 boxes, a target which we have surpassed and almost doubled! We will have final figures on Monday following the collection of our boxes from school by the Rotary Club.

I cannot praise our school community enough on the quality of the donations. There are going to be some very happy children, teenagers, babies and adults opening these boxes this Christmas!

We wrote lists of the jobs that needed to be done.

We practised what we would say in assembly.

Children in every class were very generous.
