Maths

We have been learning about Area and Perimeter for two weeks. Children in Primary 2 Blue have been exploring lovely and funny resources while leaning about this Maths topic:

-We have measured the circumferences (perimeter) of our bodies with tape measures.

-We counted with cubes the inside (area) and the outside (perimeter) of different shapes.

-We created our own Maths art using post-it notes to design beautiful and colourful squared designs.

We have also started to learn awareness of multiplication, practising repeated addition with different learning activities.

Topic

This week we will be finishing our Granny’s Attic topic and we will start to learn about Easter to be ready for our Easter celebration over the Easter holiday.
