P.7 Class News – 21/11/14

We’re nearly into December and it is a very busy time to be in Primary 7!

Panto Pandemonium is taking over as we prepare to present our Pantomime on Thursday 18th December 2014. All the children have been practising their parts for weeks and they are very excited to deliver a great show to entertain everybody!

Part of P7’s weekly homework is now working with their scripts to ensure they know their lines and eventually become confident enough to rehearse without the need for their script. In addition, we would appreciate any costume donations to help the children look the part! Thank you for your continued support in preparing the children for what should be a fantastic day for them all to remember!

Over the past few weeks Primary 7 have been taking part in Philiosophy sessions led by Dr. Fed Luzzi of Aberdeen University. Dr. Fed has visited the class every Tuesday afternoon and will continue to do so into the New Year. The children have been fantastic in their contributions to class discussions and have shown great team work when working in groups during the sessions. Dr. Fed has commented on their excellent behaviour and commitment during these sessions. Well done P7!

After our October holiday, Primary 7 welcomed Miss Doolan, a postgraduate student from Dundee University. Miss Doolan has been working with P7 for several weeks now and will start to take more responsibility as she builds up her experience of teaching in the upper school.
