Health Week in Primary 7

A great start to Health Week for our P7 team “Rainbowness” who made it into the last 15 teams of the ‘Taste of Grampian’ Schools’ Lunch Box Competition. They went to Thainstone to represent St Peter’s on Saturday and came 3rd for their creation with a bunny sandwich and strawberry and kiwi fruit flowers.

Here are some of our snaps from Sports Day. Well done to all the Primary 7’s for helping to run the Sports Day events for P1-3/4 and then taking part so enthusiastically in their own Sports Day in the afternoon. The favourite event was the Dress-Up race!

During the week we also went to Seaton Park for a sports afternoon. We played rounders and football. Thank you to our Mum’s who walked with us and also joined in for a football game. 🙂

Part of Health Week homework was to bring in a vegetable to put into a class soup which turned out very successful. We made out own soup one day and all got to taste it and the following day we made bread in the Bread Maker and compared it to shop bought bread and looked at the ingredients in both. Most people voted the homemade one tasted better and we knew what ingredients went into it. Â
