Advent and Christmas celebrations in P4 class

Advent is the beginning of the Church’s liturgical year. It is a time of reflection and preparation, a time for looking at the kind of life each one of us is leading. The P4 class was very busy with celebrating Advent and preparing for Christmas.

We enjoyed reading the Bible and preparing ourselves during that important time of the Church’s Liturgical year. We learned that Advent is a time to look at how we treat other people. Do we treat them with respect and dignity, are we truthful, are we honest with the property of others, is our language proper and controlled, are we careful in our daily relationships with others, are we close to God through the practice of our faith? Or are we careless? This is a good time to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation – time to go to confession.

We enjoyed our Christmas lunch at school.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from P4

They say the best of all gifts around any Christmas tree is the presence of a happy family. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas surrounded by your precious family, and many blessings for the coming year.
