January News from P1 Red

Hello everybody!

P1 Red have settled back into school very well after the holidays. We have been learning so many new sounds and words.

In Maths, we have been learning about symmetry and subtraction.Here are some pictures of us working on  symmetry.

Below, you will see us working together learning about subtraction. We made a new friend call “Linus the Minus” who always takes away!He helped us understand that minus means take away also!

For our topic these past few weeks we focused on learning all there is to know about Scotland! We learned about Scottish cities, The Loch Ness Monster, tartan , Ceilidh dancing and lots lots more! The pictures below will give you just a little peak at how much work we have been doing to learn about Scotland.
