P7 Class News 27th May 2014
P7 had a very successful, enjoyable and fun trip to Tomintoul for their P7 residential visit. They stayed at the St. Michael’s Centre in the town as usual; thanks Fr. Colin for hosting our P7’s once again! On the first day pupils visited St. Ninian’s church in Tynet, Pluscarden Abbey and Scalan Seminary – where our very own Priest Gordon trained to be a priest over 100 years ago! On the second day they visited Landmark Adventure Park, where they had lots of fun on the roller-coaster, water-slides, high ropes and more! The pupils also really enjoyed prayer, art and music sessions with Father Colin, games and fun in their free time and, of course, plenty of fresh air… especially on their long evening walk around Tomintoul! Special thanks to Miss Dawson, Miss Corby, Mrs Craig and Mrs Martin who accompanied the pupils on their trip.
Sixteen of the P7’s will make their Confirmation this Saturday 31st May at St. Columba’s RC Church in the Bridge of Don. The have prepared well to receive the sacrament and we wish them luck on the day.
Congratulations to Izhar, Kevin, Alicja and Julia for running and competing so well in the St. Machar P7’s transition relay race!
