Many thanks to all our parents and staff for supporting P5’s Macmillan Coffee Morning yesterday. The tremendous sum of £205.10 was raised. P5 pupils applied and developed their maths knowledge to measuring weight and time as they prepared the mouth watering cakes. They also developed and applied their literacy skills

• in reading about the charity
• writing posters and information sheets
• listening and talking to visitors

Special thanks to Miss MacDonald, Mrs Kennedy, Mrs Robertson, Mrs Simpson, Mrs McKinlay, Mrs Kunze and Mrs Smith for baking with the children and supporting them to set up the hall, serve refreshments and clear up afterwards. Thanks also to parents who baked with their children at home and sent donations.
