What’s happening in school this week?
Our student teachers continue working in classes alongside teachers – Mr Melville in P6, Miss Ross in P5 and Miss Perviz in P7.
We are trying to collect items for the Rotary Club Shoebox Appeal. Please help by sending in something if you can!
Mon 9th November
- PE lessons with Mrs Armstrong – all P1, all P2, P4 and P4/5
- P4/5 parents are invited to the classroom to ‘Meet the Teachers.’ Miss McLoughlin and Mrs Jadid will be giving a short presentation about the year ahead. They will make appointments to see parents individually over the next few weeks.
Tues 10th November
- HCPT assembly. We will be raising funds for Hosanna House Children’s Pilgrimage Trust at our Christmas concerts.
- Music lessons with Mrs Herbert for every class. We are preparing for our Christmas concerts on Wed 16th and Thurs 17th December.
- Parent-teacher interviews in the hall 3.30pm – 6.30pm
Wed 11th November
- PE lessons with Mrs Armstrong – all P3, P5, P6 and P7
- P7 trip to Aberdeen Arts Centre Theatre to see St Margaret’s School’s production of “Scrooge”, leaving school at 9.30am
- Parent-teacher interviews in the hall 3.30pm – 6.30pm
Thurs 12th November
- P4 swimming lesson at Northfield. Bus leaves at 9am.
- Drama lessons for all P1, all P3 and P7
- PLEASE SEND ALL CHRISTMAS CARD ORDERS AND PAYMENTS BACK TO SCHOOL BY TODAY.
Friday 13th November
- Non-Uniform Day to raise funds for Children in Need. Please do not send children in football strips. £1 donations would be appreciated. Thanks.
- Treasure Hunt for P1 – P3 and Talent Show for P4 – P7
- Fr Gabor is visiting P4 pupils.
- Student teachers start their continuous teaching practice in P5, P6 and P7 today. As we have several teachers on a training course today, class cover is as follows:
Mrs Croxon in P1 red, Miss MacDonald in P1 blue, Mrs Duncan in P2 red, Mr McFadden in P4, Miss Ross in P5, Mr Melville in P6 and Miss Perviz in P7
Monday 16th November is an In-Service Training Day for teachers and children do not attend school.
