What’s happening in school this week?

Wednesday 6th January

• Welcome back! Miss McLoughlin teaches P6 from today.
• We welcome our new janitor, Mr Les Reid.
• Mr O’Neill will not be in school this week. Mrs Duncan will teach P1 red on Wednesday and Friday and Mrs Robertson will teach them on Thursday.
• Enrolment begins for P1 pupils who will start school in August.
• PE lessons with Mrs Armstrong for all P3 pupils, P5, P6 and P7
• Short assemblies in classrooms. Today is the feast of the Epiphany.
• Letters will be sent to P7 families about a parents’ meeting on Tuesday 12th January at 7pm.
• Letters will be sent to P3 blue families about swimming lessons that begin next Tuesday at Aberdeen Sports Village.
• Letters will be sent to P5 – P7 families whose children are interested in training with the school football team on Mondays.

Thursday 7th January

• Drama lessons with Mr Horabin for all P1, all P2, P4/5, P4 and P5.

Friday 8th January

• Jacki Bell and her colleague from the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals will come to talk to P4 – P7 children in their classes about Food and Farming. There will be an assembly about animals for P1 – P3.
• The ‘Evening Express’ photographer will take a ‘Last Class’ photo of our P7 pupils.
