P1 Red Class News – September 17th
Wow, what a great first month in school we have had in P1 Red Class! We are all settling in very well into our new class and school. We have made lots of lovely friends here in St Peters and are enjoying all the new aspects of primary school.
We have been busy bees for the last few weeks doing lots of exciting things in our classroom. We are all following the Rainbow Fish rules in our classroom which makes our room a very happy place to be!
We had a visit from the Booster Cushion Theatre last week and we all had lots of fun listening to the exciting story.
We also were lucky enough to have a visit from the Osiligi Warriors this month! They are a tribe from Kenya who came to see us and tell us all about their way of life in Africa. We sang and danced with the Osiligi Warriors and really had a great time.
We have been learning about all the different parts of our bodies during the week. We had fun drawing around a boy in our class and making sure we labelled all the body parts correctly.
We also have been enjoying learning about numbers in Maths, going to gym class to keep our bodies fit and healthy, playing with our friends and having lots of fun!
Have a nice September holiday everyone!
