Term 4 in P1 Blue

In P1 Blue, we have been lucky to have two student teachers working with us. We have been learning about capacity. Here we are measuring Numicon pieces to make sure the scales were balanced. We made predictions about how heavy different objects would be. We worked together to record our guesses and our findings.

We watched a short film about a Lighthouse Keeper and his bad luck when the lighthouse lamp broke. We saw how the villagers came together to help the Lighthouse Keeper. The sky was so dark and full of stars. We decided to look at “Starry Night” by Vincent van Gogh and we created our own artwork using oil pastels.
