P1/2 News

P1/2 continue to be very busy learning about many areas from the curriculum.

Our new topic is ‘The Owl Who Is Afraid of The Dark.’ This novel allows us to learn about many different animals, how they live, where they live and what they eat. It also allows us to understand about night and day. The children enjoy listening to the story and want to help Plop the owl overcome his fear of the dark!

On Tuesday the whole school went for a walk to Seaton Park. We had great fun!

We are learning to listen to others and participate in class discussions. Every Friday we have a ‘Show and Tell’ session. Please do not bring to school anything that could be easily broken or is valuable.

We are looking forward to the run up to Christmas. The children are learning some songs to sing in the Nativity. We will be making some festive items to sell at the Christmas Fayre on Saturday 6th December.
