Primary 7 Update
Primary 7 have helped Miss Irvin to make the backdrop for the P1-3 Nativity “Hey Ewe”. We all drew a building from the time of Jesus and added it to the village. We also helped to create the market stalls and put it all together on the floor in our classroom. We think it looks very good hanging up on the stage now.
Primary 7 have also been busy working on our own Panto, “Ali Baba and the Bongo Bandits”, learning our lines and the dances and songs. We have been creating posters to advertise it and we have been making some very interesting props. We are still on the look out for a Camel costume if anybody has one at home. We look forward to performing for you on Tuesday 17th December at 1.30pm.
Social Enterprise
We have also been busy recycling old jewellery into new and we want to sperad cheer while making a profit to give to a local charity. We will launch our enterprise at the Christmas Fair. Please come along and have a look at what we have on sale.
Ready for Advent
Our class altar is now purple for the season of Advent and we will be learning more about the symbols of Advent and preparing for Christmas over the next few weeks.
German Lessons
We have been enjoying learning German with Mrs Bain and Max. This week we have been learning about the traditions in Germany and we will learn more next week. Remember to ask your child what they found interesting. Was it the Christmas Markets, the food or maybe how they decorate their homes in Germany?
