Assemblies

Each week in assembly, class teachers shared slides which highlight great efforts and the joy of learning. Our recent assemblies have celebrated our whole school learning as we have been on a virtual world tour!

19th June assembly  We explored the unknown Antarctica and also learned about St Columba who brought Christianity to Scotland. This is the link to the Resilience Alphabet that has been developed to help us to build inner strength and wellbeing. https://education.gov.scot/improvement/scotland-learns/health-and-wellbeing-activities/resilience-alphabet/

12th June assembly (1) Our exploration of Africa.

5th June assembly This week we were thinking about the stories of Adam and Eve and the Good Samaritan. There are times when we need help and people come to our aid. Sometimes we are the helpers. We have to make the right choices. Our school reports were sent to our parents by e-mail this week. Our teachers and our parents are helping us to learn – and we help ourselves when we have a positive attitude and try hard. We shared learning about South America.

29th May assembly Our spiritual theme last week was about Pentecost when we thought about the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit, including wisdom, understanding, knowledge and courage. We shared our learning about North America.
