September in P4 class

Literacy

We have been reading for our own enjoyment in class. We were taking part in reflective reading opportunities based on various short reads and our class novel The Riverbank Otter . We were also enjoying online books and tasks set through the My Rising Stars website.

Numeracy

We have been focusing on working with whole numbers. We were learning to sequence and order numbers and we were using chimney sums to add and subtract. We also started revising our times tables.

Assembly

We take part in the whole school assemblies every week and take pride in presenting slides about our learning in class.
