Term 2 in Primary 2

So far this term we have been learning and having lots of fun. Take a look at some of the exciting things we have been doing!

This term in maths so far we have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes. We are looking forward to learning about pattern and symmetry later on this term. We have been learning lots of new sounds in phonics every week and have also enjoyed learning how to write acrostic poems. We took part in many exciting activities for Bonfire Night and were so lucky to have the fire service come and visit us and chat to us about fire safety! Our topic this term is ‘Our World of Work’ where we are learning about chocolate. We have looked at the history and timeline of chocolate and how chocolate is made from bean to bar. We were very interested to learn about Fairtrade and are looking forward to a online workshop with them very soon!
