P5 2021-2022

End of Term 2

Here is some updates from Primary 5 to finish up this busy term!

Literacy

As always, we have been linking our writing to our IDL. We have been creating our own CVS and applying for jobs while creating posters on our dream jobs and researching what skills, qualities and qualifications are needed for these jobs!

Maths

We have finished our money topic and are now working on compass points and grid references!

IDL

We have continued to improve our cooking skills with Mrs Jadid, making pizzas, cranachan, rock buns and smoothies. It has been great to try new things!

We loved creating our mini enterprise “Bestie Friendzies” and selling our friendship bracelets at our St Peters Market.

Other

We learnt about Catholic Education week and made some coat of arms based around the theme of celebrating and worshipping. Primary 5 have been busy preparing for Christmas during the session of Advent. We created our own Advent promises based on the 4 candles of the Advent wreath. Our class led the prayers for our school mass and we were so proud of our efforts. We created some beautiful nativity scenes, focusing on the crib and the star!

We were very lucky to have Judy Murray come visit our class to teach us some tennis skills! We really enjoyed the session!

It was exciting to have a visit from Santa before the term ended.

Thank you for your ongoing support! Hope you all have a lovely Christmas!
