The Big Sing in Duthie Park
Primary 4 class from St Peter’s school had a great pleasure to take part in the Big Sing event organised for P4 classes from Aberdeen. More than 2,500 school pupils from across Aberdeen took part in this musical performance in the city. It was a very exciting event for all the learners. Primary 4 pupils from every city school performed in a massed choir, singing classroom favourites “Happy Song” and “Power in Me” and a version of the Bruno Mars’ hit “Count on Me”. All the songs were accompanied by BSL sign language which we practised in class. It was amazing to see all our friends, music teachers and all the organisers during the event. We had a lot of fun! As an additional treat we had an opportunity to visit the gardens. We enjoyed out trip so much and would love to visit Duthie Park again.
