P5 Our World of Work

This term P5 were learning about the world of work. Our class took part in the careers day at school where we had many visitors from various companies telling us about their work. We were learning about skills and qualities required for different professions such as engineer, lecturer, charity worker, depute head teacher, sports coach and work in construction company.

During literacy lessons we created posters with different inventions, informative posters about the school fayre and we wrote job applications.

 

This term we also worked hard on money, money operations, different ways of payment, profit, loss and budgeting. Our learning helped us prepare our class enterprise for the school fayre.

We had an amazing time celebrating Advent and preparing for Christmas.
