End of Term 1 in P1/2

We have come to the end of our first Term in P1/2. The P1s have settled in well and our P2s have been supportive of their new classmates; showing them where things are, helping with learning and understanding the school values. There has been lots of linked learning to our 2 contexts for learning. Firstly, ‘We Belong’ allowed the pupils to have their chance to create spaces in the class designed by them and with their photos/artwork, linked to the UNCRC principles in our class charter. We have now started ‘Inventors and Inventions’ where we have been looking at some famous inventions over time and beginning to plan creating our own. We will continue this context into Term 2.
