End of Term 1

We have had a very exciting term in P4 with lots of activities including a visit from the NHS, class coffee morning, maths week activities including a magic show and a class trip to the library.

This term we enjoyed our ‘We Belong’ topic, especially our school parade. We have started our ‘Inventors and Inventions’ topic with a look at the evolution of the telephone. We will continue this topic into term 2.

In writing we have been focusing on using connectives in our sentences through a range of writing genres.

In numeracy we have looked at place value and addition. We completed our symmetry and angles topic where we looked at directional language and right angles.

We look forward to term 2 with our Christmas enterprise, Panto performance and another trip to the library.
