End of term 1 in P7

 This term we were working on two IDLs. Our first IDL -“We Belong at St Peter’s School”, linked to rights and responsibilities. We were looking at children’s rights and UNCRC articles. We also took part in democratic elections for the Pupil Council.

We worked on creating our class charter and we applied for different roles around the school, such as house captains, sports leaders and JRSO representatives. We created presentations outlining qualities required to be a class representative and encouraged our class members to vote for us in the upcoming Pupil Council elections.

For our second IDL “Inventors and Inventions”, we started learning about history of communication, the development of phones and other communication devices over the years.
