P2 Class News

This week in Literacy P2 are working on e-e phoneme as in theme and scene. The common words of this week are: head, mother, father, jump.

 In Maths P2 are learning capacity and weight.

P2 are also enjoying their daily mental maths sessions. This week we practiced counting back and bridging through ten when taking away one digit numbers from  2 digit numbers within 20.

 For our Garden Project P2 have built their own vegetable plot border and planted beans in order to grow their own vegetables.

 Next week if weather permits we will visit Cruickshank Botanic Gardens and explore different kinds of plants and flowers.
