April Learning P1/2
We have had a very busy term and are all looking forward to the Easter holiday. Here is a brief overview of our intended learning for April.
Topic – We will be completing our ‘Transport’ topic and will be introduced to our new Social Studies theme ‘Percy The Park Keeper.’ This topic will be exploring outdoor life, looking at living things such as plants, flowers and wild life.

Maths
We will be learning about grid references. We will also be learning how to follow and record routes and journeys using signs, words associated with direction and turning.
Language
P1 will be concentrating on the sounds ‘wh’ and ‘ph’. They will also be consolidating their initial sounds.
New spelling words – out now new one first little
P2 will be consolidating the sounds ‘a_e’ and ‘u_e’.

Expressive Arts
Drama and gym lessons will be every week with our specialist teachers.
Education City homework tasks will continue to be available on-line.
