SCIAF
We have collected nearly £500 so far for SCIAF. This has been raised through donations to the Wee Boxes and through money collected on World Book Day and P5’s ‘Dress Up Disney’ Day when we saw some fabulous costumes. Many thanks for your generosity. We are aiming to raise £1000 during Lent!!
There are student teachers working alongside our staff in P1 blue, P3 blue and P3 red. We welcome Miss Healy, Miss McCann and Mr Macdonald.
Monday 14th March
- Pi Day www.piday.org
- PE lessons with Mrs Armstrong – P1 blue, P1 red, P2 blue, P2 red, P3 red and P6
- 9.40 – 10.30 P4 @ ASV – Football Leave school at 9.20am. Parent helpers welcome.
- 10.30 – 11.20 P4/5 @ ASV – Football Leave school at 10.10am. Parent helpers welcome.
- Cross country team may be training at 1.15pm
- P2 red parents are invited into class to decorate cakes and biscuits for SCIAF. 1pm- 2pm
- Parents’ meetings – P1 at 2.45pm in the hall and P5 at 3.10pm in P5 classroom
- 3.15 – 4.15pm Active Schools run Basketball Club for the children in P5 – P7 who have registered.
- 5.30 – 6.30pm Football training at St Machar Academy for P5 – P7 pupils who have registered.
Tuesday 15th March
- P6 trip to ‘The Easter Story’ at the Mission. Leave school at 9.10am. Parent helpers welcome.
- 3.15 – 4.15pm Active Schools run the Multi-Activity Club for the children in P1 – P3 who have registered.
- 3.15 – 4.15pm Mrs Jadid runs the Science Club for the children in P5 – P7 who have registered.
Wednesday 16th March
- 9.50 – 10.25 P6 Badminton Festival at St Machar Academy vs Riverbank and Seaton. Leave school at 9.20am. Parent helpers welcome.
- PE lessons with Mrs Armstrong for P3b, P4, P4/5, P5 and P7.
Thursday 17th March
- St Patrick’s Day. Pay £1 to SCIAF to wear a touch of green.
- 9.15am- 10am P1b parents are invited to their Coffee Morning
- 2pm P2 blue families are invited in for fundraising activities
- Children from P5, P6 and P7 will be representing our school at the Open Cross Country Championships on Friday 18th March. Mr McFadden and Mr O’Neill are arranging training sessions on Thursdays. Pupils need to bring tracksuits and trainers to participate please.
- Claire Chernouski of Global Health Promotions will run Mental Wellbeing workshops for almost all classes.
- 3.30 – 4.30pm Active Schools run the Dance Club for the children in P5 – P7 who have registered.
Friday 18th March
- P1 dental inspections
- Children from P5, P6 and P7 will be representing our school at the Open Cross Country Championships.
