The Rotary Shoebox Scheme

Rotary

The boys and girls in P4/5 have been working hard to promote the Rotary Shoebox Scheme. We would like to fill as many boxes as possible for a safe trip to Romania to help some children have a Merry Christmas.
We will be collecting items for the boxes from now until 28th October.
We will gather together all of the items that our children bring in and get them packed into boxes. However, if you and your family would like to take a box and fill it at home together, that would be greatly appreciated. Each box will need to have a £1 coin attached.

Things to include are as follows:
Socks
Scarves
Gloves
Small toys (brand new)
Toothbrushes
Facecloths
Colouring books
Toy cars
Colouring pencils
Jewellery
Hair ties
Hair brushes

Please be sure to avoid items such as:
Weapons/war suggestive toys
Food
Drinks
Toys that will not fit in a small box

If you are filling a box at home please let us know the age range it’s suitable for.
Please contact Miss Corby for more details or check out http://www.rotaryshoebox.org/

Thanks in advance for your donations!
