Primary 4 – June News

Here is a look back at some of the learning Primary 4 have been doing this term!

Health week

Health week is St Peter’s School was a huge success. Primary 4 got a chance to take part in lots of fun activities such as cricket, food tasting and a dance workshop with Miss MacDonald. As part of Health Week, we also participated in a prayer workshop. We finished Health Week with a whole school conga.

Primary 4 had great fun at Sports Day! We competed in a number of races and events and had a great time earning points for our houses; St Andrew, St Machar, Elphinstone and Kings.

First Holy Communion

Well done to the boys and girls who made their First Holy Communion. It was a beautiful day. The children should be so proud of all their hard work: doing readings, carrying gifts and singing so beautifully on their special day. A lovely day was had by all.

Aberdeen Youth Games

Our class were very lucky to get the chance to take part in the “Aberdeen Youth Games” at the A.S.V. We were very lucky with the weather and spent the whole day outdoors, taking part in a range of different activities such as athletics, rugby and basketball! We had a wonderful day!

Thanks to Miss Webb’s lovely P5/6 boys and girls, we have been learning all about Loose Parts Play and have had lots of opportunities to use our imagination within play.

Primary 4 have been working on their team work skills, trying to build the most stable bridges using only paper and straws.

It is hard to believe we are near the end of Primary 4! Your on-going support is very much appreciated.
