Week 2 of Home Learning for P7
Here are some more examples of work that the P7’s have been doing at home this week.
Thank you again to the families who have been joining in and sending in work or chatting on Google classroom, playing online maths games. This is all great.
We had some healthy snack and baking challenges and everyone made delicious things at home and sent photos. Some children even shared recipes so that others can try to make their creations. Well done to everyone for this.
One of the learning tasks was to research a famous Mathematician and lots of boys and girls sent back brilliant posters and slide shows to show who they learned about and share some facts about them.
We looked at the work of artist Wayne Thiebaud and drew and coloured our own amazing cakes in his style.
There were also some great home Science experiments this week like How to grow a rainbow, Invisible Ink and the Leak Proof Bag. I think these were enjoyable and we also made predictions on Google classroom about which ones would work out best.
We did lots more learning but I will end on the Primary 7’s suggestions of how to keep busy during the Easter Holidays. There are so many great posters, I will just share a few. Hopefully some families can use some of your ideas P7 to keep themselves busy. Enjoy!
I hope you all have a safe and happy Easter Holiday. Looking forward to seeing what more online learning brings next term. We will be back on Google Classroom on Tuesday 21st April. Until then stay safe and be kind.
