End of Term P1 2020/2021
Thank you very much to all the Primary 1’s for their hard work this year. We have had great fun and learned lots along the way as well as making great friends. Here are some photos to show a little of what we have been up to over the past few weeks.
We have enjoyed lots of outdoor learning in the garden where we have been doing our Woodland workouts. We have worked together to make some cool flags using leaves and flowers to add the colour to our flags. We also used berries, spinach and flowers to make some house colour bunting to cheer on our houses for Sports Day.
We have enjoyed learning about the life-cycle of a butterfly and have enjoyed looking after our caterpillars and watching them turn into butterflies. We will release them on the last day of term in the school garden.
We also took part in sports day activities and gathered points for our houses. We had lots of fun and enjoyed decorating our spoons for the egg and spoon race, making house posters to put up on our classroom windows and learning a new race called “Catch the Train”. Here are some photos from our P1 sports day. All the points will be added together to see which house will win this year.
We also wished our Dads a very Happy Fathers Day this term!
I have really enjoyed getting to know all the boys and girls in Primary 1 and I will miss them next year but hope they will say hello when they see me. I hope you all have a lovely summer holiday and a good rest, ready for more learning in Primary 2. You should all be very proud of how well you have done in such a strange year with some online learning too. Well done and best wishes.
Miss Rynne 🙂
