Welcome to term 2.

Literacy

During this term we will continue working on our spelling words and our reading. We wil also create various genres of writing that link to our IDL this term , which is Myths and Legends.

Numeracy

This term we will be learning about time. We have already started learning about days, months, years and seasons. We are also learning to write dates in long and short forms. This term we practise telling the time using analogue and digital clocks.

IDL

Our IDL this term is ‘Myths and Legends’. We will do lots of reading and learning about many interesting legends concerning different saints. We will also use our imagination to create our own stories and characters. We are looking forward to visiting our local library soon.

PE

Ths term we will work on concentration, coordination and cooperation with partners. During our PE lessons we will practise different skills required to play tennis. We will also continue working on our football skills during RADS sessions.

Homework

Just like last term, our homework will be shared on Google Classroom every Monday. Homework activities will include: a book on the Rising Stars website, numeracy activities on Education City website, and spelling words.
