Term 3 in P1W

We have had a very fun and busy start to Term 3! In numeracy, we have been learning to name and recognise coins as well as add coins together to make amounts. We have also started learning about giving change. We have also been learning how to use tally marks and create our own bar graphs. In writing we have been learning to use our imagination to create characters, setting and our own short stories! We started a new topic called ‘Let’s Celebrate’ where we looked into how people celebrate Burns Night in Scotland, we even took part in a ceilidh which was very fun. We enjoyed learning about Chinese New Year and saw a real lion dance in the school hall! Have a look at all of our lovely learning, and we can’t wait to share more with you at the end of the term.
