End of Term 2

This term we concluded our knowledge of Addition and Subtraction in Numeracy. Next term we will be moving onto Estimation and rounding as well as looking at Money.

Many of us moved RWI groups to further challenge ourselves. These groups will change again after the holidays and we will continue to practise our reading skills through RWI.

Our IDL topic this term was our World of Work. We had lots of visitors come to tell us about their jobs and we got to ask them some questions. We developed our skills (literacy, numeracy, innovation, health and wellbeing and communication) through this topic.

We focused on Imaginative, Functional and Personal writing this term, this linked to our IDL topic where we made acrostic poems about our dream jobs.

In PE we focused on fitness. We made circuits and tracked our progress to see if our fitness levels improved. Next term we will focus on Scottish dancing to link with our Cultural Scotland topic.
